Next Generation Logging is a multi-generational, family owned and operated company located in beautiful North Idaho. We specialize in providing forestry, land management, and wildfire mitigation services to both residential and commercial clients. Our passion for the great outdoors drives us to help our clients protect and preserve the health of their land. We have seen and understand the devastation wildfires and unhealthy forests can inflict upon one’s investment. Our hope is that we can educate and participate in the management of land in our community and the area we all call home.

Partner
Growing up in the woods of North Idaho, Austin developed a strong desire to keep the land green, growing and vibrant. Austin ventured into Wildland FireFighting and it quickly sparked a passion for him to help others to mitigate wildfire devastation on personal levels. Austin loves sharing his knowledge with clients and how to help them mitigate the threat around their homes and land.
His love for the preservation of healthy, managed land and forests, grew into a company, Next Generation Logging. NGL was started as a family owned and operated company in North Idaho with the company motto and mission of, “Ensuring A Forest For Tomorrow.” Because of this mission, Austin strives to educate our clients and the community about how managing their land with sound forestry practices can protect it for future generations to come.
Randy
Operator
Next Generation Logging is Randy’s dream job come true. Growing up in North Idaho, Randy enjoys and appreciates what the forest and outdoors has to offer. He is an avid outdoorsman and knows what it takes to keep North Idaho beautiful for generations to come. Randy is passionate about his work, and actively promotes sound forestry and wildfire mitigation practices to preserve the beauty of North Idaho and the land that surrounds his community.
Hunter
Project Supervisor
Hunter is Project Supervisor and coordinates all of Next Generation Logging’s forestry projects. He enjoys meeting with our clients to discuss their dreams and possibilities for their land. He works closely with each client to make sure NGL efficiently and effectively assists them in achieving their dreams and goals they have for their properties.
Hunter loves North Idaho and has a passion for helping our clients and assisting them with wildfire mitigation. Hunter was raised working outdoors and has worked in almond orchards and grape vineyards and holds a degree in plant science. He loves the outdoors and applying his knowledge and experience while working with his hands on the land. The services that he performs with Next Generation Logging give him a feeling that he is contributing and making a difference for the future of our forests, our client’s homes and their families.
